Mass Merchant In-Store Promotion Requires Scale, Speed and Brand Compliance

CHALLENGE:

When one of the largest mass merchant retailers in the U.S. needs to execute their biggest in-store sales promotion of the year they need a partner that can support and execute their massive marketing supply chain needs to ensure the right materials get to the right locations at the right time. The challenge is not only the coordination and execution of their vast printing requirements for 4,000 stores, but the complex kitting and distribution of store specific P.O.P. is also a major undertaking as one size does not fit all.

Brand consistency and compliance was of utmost importance. They needed the convenience and ease of doing business with one Print Service Provider that could consolidate the entire program under one roof within the time frame needed. 

SOLUTION:

The depth of Orora Visual’s print production horsepower, manufacturing agility, and experience with large scale retail program roll-out requirements meant that we were able to execute the entire campaign. A program of this magnitude required every print method and every production facility under the Orora Visual umbrella.

This included small and large format offset, small and large format digital, screen print, and dye-sublimation print methods. With 43 printing presses, many of which are duplicated across our four (4) facilities located in New Jersey, Chicago, Orange County and Dallas, we were able to tackle the print and finishing needs while maintaining color and brand consistency.

We had the manpower and the vast amount of dedicated space needed to accommodate the complex kitting requirements as well.
